NV Domaine des Aubuisières Vouvray Brut Methode Traditionnelle 89 Points
France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Vouvray
Crazy nose of apples and pie crust. Couldn't stop smelling this wine for about 10 minutes. Palate had nice minerality and good citrus, apple and pear notes. Finish was bracing and enjoyable.

Always fun to drink Blaufrankisch! Boisterous raspberry, sweet pipe tobacco and red florals combine for a really enjoyable nose. Palate had big time red fruit balanced with subtle earthen flavors. Really nice.

Nose has lean blue and red fruit flavors with some underbrush. Palate had vegetal flavors...celery, and radishes. I enjoyed the wine as I tend to gravitate to leaner styled wines.

Similiar notes to the last time I had this - coffee, red fruit with bracing minerality. This didn't have the depth that the previous bottle did.

Great ruby color. Nose has beautiful round red florals, and red fruit with a pronounced lift of crushed rocks and spice. Palate exhibits bright red fruit - surprisingly round and approachable at this point.
