Rather a disappointing showing for wines from one of my favorite white wine producers. One expects a lot from Raveneau, and while these were decent Chablises, they were also rather ripe and lacking some of the structure and acidity I usually expect from this producer. There was only one Grand Cru in this line up, and it was quite good. I'll need to try more '08 Chablis before reaching a final conclusion, but this tasting suggests that it's not as strong a vintage there as it is for white Burgundy in general.
