Light dried herbs. Lots of age showing in the color - massive bricking. Some ripeness still left but no tannin structure at all. Falls short as a whole on the palate especially. Some marmalade play coming through as well along with Potpourri accents. The warm climate is coming through as stewed red stone fruit. The finish is disjointed. Maybe indicative of the vintage? As a whole the nose is decent.
Big plump and creamy sporting lots of cassis, chocolate, tobacco and a waxiness on the nose. Purple flowers with touches of heat and spice. A big dense bottling. Big tannins and still super young. Big fruit. Big and spicy. A really attractive nose - a touch over the top on the palate to merit more points.
Gobs of strawberry pancake syrup and cinnamon with some light mocha powder. Licorice, rhubarb and some red vegetation. Sour cherry - uber ripe fruit. Green olive with a unique salinity I really enjoy. A viscosity that is unusual on the nose as well. No one guessed this was Barolo and though it was quite delish, it didn't show like one except for the rusty characteristics. The finish is huge with lots of acidity. Needs a bit more balance as a whole. Excellent nose, wish the palate kept up.

Candied dry cherries. Some earthy funk. Classic Burgundian nose. A little all spice and light roasted nuts. Some pretty flowers. Big acid. A touch of green. Palate is a big oaky. Nice.

Floral, baking spice. A great '04. No green streak at all. A noble nose if you will. A little tar and coal. Nice and well endowed but showing nice restraint. Big acid on the back end. Very nicely made.
Super cloudy color. Cranberry red with pinkish hues. Gorgeous beautiful funk. Pristine polish on the nose. Really pretty rock a minerality aromas coupled with cool climate ripe red fruit. Artisanal handcrafted eccentricity. Unique terroir. Awesome and layered with a funky brie cheese aroma. Finesse and refinement. So elegant and feminine, but still a tour de force in Sonoma Pinot. Great acidity but plush with a gorgeous mouth feel. Clean finish. Round and opulent. A complete wine. An excellent producer to keep on the radar. Highly recommended.

Past its prime. Cool to try though. Cherry, clove, menthol, spice and moderate oxidation. Reductive, drying with a shallow mid palate. Touch of cocoa powder. Big acid and austere. Falls short, but it's an oldie.
Funky stinky foot and cheese. Super shroom. Some rustic sour cherry. Showing nice age. Reductive notes - anise, leather, chalky. Signs of a warm vintage? Some light tannin structure. Dirt road, masculine but not over the top. Drinking well today. Dusty tannins now. Elegant forest floor - dried leaves. Still some life left, but not too too much.
