this wine stood out at the tasting. it's big, but still balanced and complex. the color is bright purple and the nose is full of earth, spice and black currants. i like the richness and silkiness on the palate. still, it maintains its structure. hints of olive highlight the dark berry fruit. long finish.

this wine didn't show as well as the others. the nose was really pungent. i let it sit and swirled it for a few minutes, but i couldn't get past this pungent aroma. it's almost like garlic and it overwhelms the fruit. the palate is smooth with good fruit. none of the pungency of the nose, but it's still just not exciting.

this wine didn't show as well as the others. the nose was really pungent. i let it sit and swirled it for a few minutes, but i couldn't get past this pungent aroma. it's almost like garlic and it overwhelms the fruit. the palate is smooth with good fruit. none of the pungency of the nose, but it's still just not exciting.
