Light watermelon color. faint tropical fruit with lime dominate at the mid palate worry some lemon. Surprisingly long finish for a rose.

A light heat from nose to finish, but this did not have decanter time. moderately fruit forward, good structure, pepper, overall well done.

Nose of earth and strawberry jam. Smooth mouthfeel mid palate with tannins firm towards the finish. Light dry finish.

Dark fruit and toasted oak nose. Lots of layers of fruit, structure, and cedar from the CF showing. Medium finish. Another great vintage for this wine.

2007 Sanford Chardonnay Botrytis Bien Nacido Vineyard
USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Maria Valley
Not quite the body, mouthfeel, or stature of a sauternes but enjoyable. less residual sugar and more chardonnay characteristics. Mouthfeel is decidedly light for a dessert wine.
