    The bouquet starts out oaky, then the fruit comes through, promising a substantial attractive wine.
    Delicious fruit, strongly tannic but soft, quite a good balance, will keep 3 to 5 years.

    France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

    A fruity nose with a bit of oak, a complexity of fruit, tobacco and spice.
    Oaky fruit in the mouth too, very attractive with soft tannins, still developing and will improve over the next 5 - 10 years.

    The oak provides strong vanilla, there's bright fruitiness, a fairly simple nose.
    Very concentrated fruit, soft tannins, weighty mid palate, may improve over the next 2 - 5 years.

    A nose showing loads of development, mainly vegetal notes but also some animal.
    Fruity, but a very mature taste, quite attractive if you like a bit of oxidisation (which I do!).

    A fruity fresh nose showing a bit of development, very clean and attractive.
    Fruity, quite tannic, very intense and concentrated, quite smooth, a quality wine.
