Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of potpourri, asphalt, birch and black berries. Flavors of black berries, black cherries and a hint of graham cracker. Medium acidity, medium tannins, light to medium body. Drink or hold. Kind of reminded me of a Volnay.
