Nose of a white Rhone wine to me. Some spice, tough of mint. The palate has nice acid with a creamy mouth feel. A little grass and slight chemical action - but enjoyable. Good wine.
Green apple, menthol, pine. Nice minerals. Unctuous. Creamy and unique. Spice and rock driven. Not really Burgundy styling. Super ripe. Still seems so young.

This was virtually unanimous as the wine of the night - crazy right? Super rich deep heady, culty aromatics. Blackberry, cola, chocolate. Big deep young fruit. Sexy nose, baking spice. Gorgeous spicy berries, mocha, creamy plums. Really nice balance. Touch of heat on the back end. Some nice acidity. Very New World styling. Well made and clean bottling. Celery, salty potato chips and truffles. So good. Highly recommended.

Bricking color. Savory creamy nose. Sweet corn rocking away. Really cool cotton candy, blue fruit. Green olive, sweet Margarita lime and salt on the nose. Crazy aromatics. A little funk and waxy mouth feel. More creamy yellow vegetation - squash and yellow bell pepper. Indian and Asian curry spices. Really nice. So much going on. Bravo.

More muted nose than others. Leather, subtle black and pink peppercorn. Rustic with considerable heat on the nose. The palate shows sweet tannins though which I really like. A little dried green herb flavors and some austerity on the back end. Good heat. Solid, but I expected a lot more with a 96 in Parker's book.

Anise, mint blue and purple fruit. Jammy some gray rock and pepper. Ripe. Alcohol on the palate. Liqueur fruit. Lots of extraction - a little too much. Quality fruit, but I want more for sixty five dollars.
