  I did not take notes. Great nose, decent taste. The best Grüner I've had but I've only had 3 others so small sample size.

• 2009 Alzinger Riesling Federspiel Dürnsteiner 89 Points

  I did not take notes. Beautiful perfume floral notes, like a classy woman. But I also smelled a little hair salon in it, like wet hair. The nose had me thinking this would be less dry than it was. There were some savory tastes here.

• 2009 Alzinger Riesling Smaragd Loibenberg 90 Points

  Austria, Niederösterreich, Wachau

  Floral, pepper, perfume nose...LOVED the way this one smelled. Not as dry as Federspiel Dürnsteiner but 1% more alcohol. Overall tasty Riesling.
