When well balanced and complex, pinot gris can be really special. This is one of them. The aromatics on the nose are an intense bouquet of blossom and pear and the palette's balanced acidity works with a delicate residual sweetness. Top notch.
For the 'cheap' label, this is damn impressive. A savoury wine with big red fruits and cherry. Fruit also features on the palette with spices balancing out the big acidity.
Coffee, chocolate and plums on the nose with a big acidic backbone in the palette that is trimmed with spices and fleshy fruit. There is a big spicy finish and some bright acidity and I think this one will need a few years in the cellar to settle down.

Dark fruits of plum and cherry with fantastic oak treatment and a magnificent and very tight structure. The oak and acidity are in perfect balance with a delicate and refined finish.

A nose of concentrated black pepper and dark fruit with a focused wood treatment. The palette is not heavy, and is in fact very pure and finessed with a long, seductive finish.

This is a little wierd, but I think I like it. The Merlot is quite dominant and the fleshy and sweet fruit is the main event, with some support from the cabernet. There is a bright mineral core on the palette, laced with bright fruit.
