A pale straw Chardonnay with a light body. Pear, golden delicious apple and oddly marshmallow (unoaked Chard) rounded out the nose. In the mouth, it had good acidity with golden delicious apple and a slight lush feel to the mouth more evident as it warmed. The finish had citrus and golden delicious apple. Pure Chardonnay, but not enough fruit to really engage you.
A deep ruby wine with lots of blackberry on the nose and very smooth in the mouth with a medium mouth feel and tastes of blackberries. The finish adds cedar, some acidity and continues with the blackberry. Very straight-forward, but done very well.
Ruby with a light to medium body. A nose to make a frenchman proud. A nice mix of black olive, black currant and some rich earthy tones. The mouth has some acidity with red berries. The finish leads with red berries, cedar and a slight acidity, but adds a sweet cinnamon tone. This wine has character and a warm, earthy richness. A great deal for the price.
Ruby with a nose of rich black cherry and cedar. Round and soft in the mouth, with black cherries. Very fruity with decent acidity. The finish has black cherries, faint cedar and a hint of vanilla. The tannins are still a little chewy and the finish is on the hot side. Give it a few years.
