Alcohol :: 12% High tones spices, earth, mineral, plum with a whiff of alcohol that distract a bit. Tasted old, fully mature with dusty, musky character. Rich on the palate, integrated, coffee and milk chocolate after taste. Again, this is quite straight forward but perhaps offer better flavors complexity than the Fieuzal. With time, the fruits started to fade with bitter finish. Drink up. Buy - No.

13% Brick red. Sweet red cherry fruits with damp earth, autumn leaves. Quite lean on the palate, with damp earth, fresh acid and dusty tannin, sour plum, short length. The mid palate gain a little bit of sweetness from the fruits and slightly longer finish with some aeration, but nothing more. Quite anonymous. Worth to mention that the wine is still fresh and not really in the secondary stage, or it will never be. Buy - No.
Alcohol :: 15.3% 89% Syrah, 7% Grenache, and 4% Viognier Opague purplish color. Deep, broad shoulder nose of kirch liquor, blue flower, liquorice, still restraint and tight, this was so 2007 CDP! Everyone shouted so. Opulent, rich on the palate with concentrated sweet dark fruits, layer of spices, kirsch liquor, milk chocolate and grounded coffee bean. Tannin and oak is well integrated and alcohol is very well cover by the concentration of fruits on the mid palate, absolute a stunner for 15.3%. However, there is slight heat appeared on the medium length finish. A well-made wine, however, thanks to the Ode to E that I had last year which strike me like a thunder and made this wine rather simple and less exciting in SQN standard. Buy - No.

Oak, cold herb and spices with ripe yellow fruits and huge mineral backbone that has very light edge. Very clean on the palate, good concentration of fruits that well balance with the oak influence spicy flavor and slight sharp mineral, kinda one dimension. The finishing is more interesting, with mineral, lemon like flavors that lingered. I thought this was a very good Meursault village from 2005 vintage. Buy - No.
