Page Wine Cellars Winery Tasting

Our final stop in the valley was a quick pop into the Page Wine Cellars tasting room in Yountville. The facility itself is fun and funky with a disco ball hanging inside the front door, guitars on display (including a signed guitar by Carlos Santana taken in trade for some Page wines) and music related posters plastered throughout. The standard tasting is $10.00 for 5 wines. Here are the results:

  Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of flowers, berries, white pepper and plums. Good berry flavors followed by flavors of plums and raspberries. Medium acidity, medium tannins, medium body. Drink now through let's say 5 years plus or minus.
