Bricking colour shows the age. On the nose it comes a bit of excess sweetness, kirsch like, red fruits. Less earthy than expected. Light on the palate, well aged, feels fragile, and its about time to drink these. 90-91
Brownish colour. In general feels past its peak and although we need to discount for bottle variation this felt a bit overly sweet on the palate and sort of tails lightly in the end. Lost its vibrancy. Still a good enough bottle but we expected a lot more. 91
The nose The nose on this wine is what we loved the most. Open , expressive so typical bordeaux fruit with some hints of mint.Coming into its drinking window and with some decanting to iron out the tannin even at this age it is superb. Drink from now but this will last. 92 and could easily be higher. In general over the last few months we are comign across some beautiful 96s, Tabot, Cos and now this beychevelle.
Closed on the nose almost shut down. On th epalate it is less tannic than last tasting but still lost of tannin to go around and it feels so young still. Very good structure and definitely a wine to wait another 10yrs. 92 for now

The beautiful nose is what we will remember this wine as. So open and expressive yet dark, smoky oh so lovely gevrey. Unfortunately the palate doeasnt follow and it comes on time to remind you this is a village, albeit a special and expensive one. Dnt overpay. 91 and drink up
Young and tannic. Lots of cherry on the nose and feels very well made with structure and body. Still in its young its very alive fresh and enjoyable. Would recommend a good hour of decanting.
The petrolly nose is so powerful here that could even be offputting. For the lovers of it though its is just the stuff. Light, "bubbly" , energetic. Such a beautifly light wine. 88-89

1995 Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia 91 Points

2004 Poderi Aldo Conterno Barolo 91 Points

Young and tannic. Lots of cherry on the nose and feels very well made with structure and body. Still in its young its very alive fresh and enjoyable. Would recommend a good hour of decanting.
