Ruby red with brick coloured rim. More fruits like plum as well as secondary tones as earth and truffle on the nose. Elegant and smooth, also on the palate more fruits (than 1983). Some mandarin orange tones. Lingering finish. Beautiful mature Saint Emilion.
More vitality than the 1983 Cheval Blanc next to it. Brick colour. Earth and minerals on the nose. Smooth and truffles on the palate, nice wine. Had this wine two times before (in 2008) but this bottle was best.
