A lovely developed nose, including some fruit. Yes and there's fruit in the mouth, plenty of tannins with elements of dried and stewed fruit, not for further keeping.

Youthful, bright and translucent. A leathery nose with morello cherries. Fruity and quite well balanced, a softish mid palate with plenty of bitterness, quite long.
Translucent and showing plenty of age. A youthful bouquet, fuit and flowers, cherries and violets. Velvety fruity mouthfeel, soft tannins, sweet mid palate with a savoury complexityand good length.

A predominantly animal nose with some lovely fruity notes, blackberry and blackcurrant. Treacly, fruity, silky,drinking very well but this will keep another 5 n- 10 years, elegant and classy.

Inky and with much less age showing than expected. Very animal nose, with tobacco and strawberries - and some oak. Soft sirupy fruit, silky soft, sweetish juicy mid palate, certainly not yet in its dotage.

Inky with substantial age. Very attractive fuity nose with flowery notes and some development, quite complex. Juicy attack, very soft but substantial tannins, beautiful balance, plenty of life left - but drinking very well now.

A lovely blend of tart anf sweet fruit with a hint of spice, refreshing with a bitter finish.
