This was a suprisingly good wine. Much more feminine in style compared to the ashmead and command. Even with that said this wine does have great depth and power to go along with it's more elegant presentation. This wine had a nice red ruby coloring. Nice dark fruit on the nose along with some smoky spiciness as well.
Dark red color. Great nose on this wine. Huge super silky tannins on this very young aussie cab. Dark berries, chocolate and a little bell pepper. Great integration of oak. Super long finish on this.
Great red color, just slightly bricking a bit at the rim. Nose of coffee and mocha along with some spices. Super silky on the palate, still has obvious tannins in place. This wine hasn't aged much at all compared to the '06 I had along side it. On the palate I got anise, dark berriesand a mocha coffee flavors.
Nice super dark red coloring. This needed another 4 hours or more of decanting. This wine was super tight and tannic. Great dark fruit, coffee, anise, dusty dark chocolate and earthy undertones. Wait a few years before popping this one.
