Medium ruby, maturing. Pungent, earthy red fruit. Medium weight, complex herbs and licorice. As we joked, a rare Gouges that is maybe, kinda, sorta ready to drink. Excellent and nothing off vintage about this.
Medium yellow. Pleasant botrytized nose. Not terribly sweet, good acidity. Like many of these wines before this one, something a little impure about this with a finish that is a little harsh. Not great.

Wonderful! Bright citrus, fresh, orange, vanilla and minerals. Great showing.

2004 Domaine Guiberteau Saumur Blanc Les Clos
France, Loire Valley, Anjou-Saumur, Saumur
Light yellow. Citrus and some ineffable Loire Chenin wooly tones. Lively acidity, tremendous depth despite only medium weight. Immensely impressive.

1996 Régis Cruchet Vouvray Moelleux
