Alcohol :: 14.5% Youthful dark ruby red that display loads of ripe red cherry, tar and floral, though simple but attractive and the the aromas character also reflect on the palate, forward drinking, quite lush with the red fruited palate too, acidity is slightly on the low side but no problem for the balance, the 14.5% alcohol is well-concealed which is a plus for a wine at this price point. Really enjoyable with decent finish too. Buy - Maybe - Yes.

Alcohol :: 13% Similar aromas to previous bottle except this is even tighter and shy, lots of green and dried herbs, ginger, spices, creamy vanilla complexity with underlying white citrus fruits and mineral, not expressive now, but display good focus. Sweet with good acid backbone that has this very pure mineral cut through the flavors of melon, lemon and herbs with light salted butter that giving this creamy mouth feel. Fresh, pure and quite elegance too. The medium length finish is linger with mineral, dry herbs and spices aftertaste. Still youthful and I very much like this wine though it is not too complex now and I hope this will develop better complexity in the bottle, say, 5yrs time. Buy - Maybe - Yes.

It was this elegance and perfume aromas of violet that grab my attention, along with soft aromas of tobacco, earth, dry herbs that surrounded the inner core of creme de cassis. This medium bodied, well balance wine exhibit very bright, harmonious with very pure sweet red and dark fruits flavor, dried herb complexity with a touch of savory meatiness, with firm acidity backbone lending for lift and precision. What I like this vintage is the freshness and acidity lift that make this highly concentrated (in 2004) wine light on its feet and highly transparent. The fine, soft tannin has very well integrated and leads to the long, persistent finish with mineral, dry herbs and sweet plum nuances. An immense pleasure to drink this now and this should be able to continue evolved for the next 3-5yrs to reach its plateau. Buy - Yes.
