I preferred the 2008. Similar thick texture. Oak, cherry and perfume nose. Heat on the finish. On 2nd round it showed better; dusty green nose, pizza spices, pepper.

the most bricked color of the bunch, very murky clarity. Nose of Pinot funk and vanilla, spicy and sweet. Also black licorice nose. Tart cherry and smoke flavors. Light bodied, nice.
