    France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Grands-Echezeaux Grand Cru

    Wine tasting. Floral and charming nose. Intense aromas, softer fruit on palate. Great length and textures on the finish.

  • 1969 Bouchard Aîné & Fils Chambertin-Clos de Bèze 91 Points

    France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru

    Wine tasting. Big bold fruit still on nose and palate, doing well behind rich earthy character. Still vibrant with good acidity. Reasonable length.

  • 1975 Château Haut-Brion 88 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan

    Wine tasting. Quite enjoyable smells of mushroom and forest floor with a bit of cigar box in the mix. Less attractive mostly faded flavors, more tannins than fruit or other interesting components.

  • 1967 Château Haut-Brion 91 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan

    Wine tasting. Surprisingly vibrant and enjoyable. Cigar box, dried fruit and herbs on nose. Some good dried fruit on palate behind lots of good secondary character. Moderate length showed some good spice as well.

  • 2003 Bergström Pinot Noir Broadley Vineyard 87 Points

    USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley

    Wine tasting. Big red fruit on nose, more dark fruit on palate with some roasted character. Ripe fruit gives this lots of extract and concentrated flavors to enjoy, but also some bitterness and flabbiness. Others enjoyed this far more than I did. What happened to this wine sinceI tasted from barrel?!?
