Decanted for an hour or so. Good intensity and length. Tightly packed flavors a bit reticent at this stage. Hints of gunpowder. Very primary still. Should be more explosive given a few more years.
Explosive nose of cigar, coffee and chocolate. Great showing except for the touch of green pepper towards the end which I didn't enjoy. Given a few more years should add weight and complexity.
2000 Blain-Gagnard Le Montrachet 92 Points
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Montrachet Grand Cru
Pale color and somewhat light in body. Pleasant notes of white flower and beewax that got more expressive in the glass. Elegant and beautiful.
