    Smoky Villages, too much oak? Some artificial "Betadine". Simple but effective on the nose. Palate lacks of depth, just eggshell at first. Disliked that aftertaste at the closed side. Without a strong personality. Evolved to a chimney wine.

    Villages ahumado, ¿demasiado roble? Algo artificial a Betadine. En nariz simple pero efectivo. En boca carece de profundidad, solo al principio cáscara de huevo. No me gustó ese postgusto cerrado. Sin una gran personalidad. Evolucionó hacia un vino achimeneado.

  • 2008 Domaine Roulot Meursault Les Tessons Clos de Mon Plaisir

    France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault

    Highly fragant. At first, full and rounded nose with a citrius and butter blended. By disgrace, with some air there was too much colony (lavender). Deuxieme Cru here? Not for me, thanks. People´s choice. Pure lemony mouthfeel but very simple acidity. Evolved to bready wine.

    Muy fragante, De entrada, una nariz llena y redonda con una mezcla a limón y mantequilla. Por desgracia con algo de aire había demasiada colonia (lavanda). ¿Deuxieme Cru aquí? No para mi, gracias. La elección de la gente. Sensación en boca a puro limón pero de acidez muy simple. Evolucionó hacia un vino a pan.

    Reduced nose at first. Peach mermelade. No emotions; a correct bottle without great sensations. More Chablis in style on the palate. What a pity for Jobard father!
    François pls returns!

    Nariz reducida al principio. Mermelada a melocotón. Sin emociones; una botella correcta sin grandes sensaciones. Más estilo Chablis en boca. ¡Qué lástima para Jobard padre! ¡François vuelve!

  • 2007 Ballot-Millot & Fils Meursault 1er Cru Les Genevrières

    France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault 1er Cru

    Light lime colour. Long legs. Sticky. Less lemony on the palate. Richly exotic when seeking secondary smells. Nice. Very typical for a Genevrieres. My outsider of the tasting event.

    Color lima ligero. Largas lágrimas. Untuoso. Menos alimonada en boca. Ricamente exótica cuando buscas olores secundarios. Muy típica para una Genevrieres, Mi inesperada dela noche.

  • 2004 Henri Boillot Meursault 1er Cru Les Poruzots

    France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault 1er Cru

    Second bottle closed of the night. Clearly needs time. Golden colour. Anise and apricot on the nose. Becoming a mellowed wine but with a timid nose and a less acidic palate. Maybe in the near future.

    Segunda botella cerrada de la noche. Claramente necesita tiempo. Color dorado. En nariz anís y albaricoque. Comenzando a ser un vino suavepero con una nariz tímida y una boca menos ácida. Quizás en un futuro próximo.

  • 2002 Maison Leroy Meursault 1er Cru Blagny

    France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault 1er Cru

    Little pass over the hill but delicious. Pure meringue on the nose with caramel, roasted apple. An exotic touch too. Something different, something Leroy, something to call it "my luv". An extraordinary effort for a Blagny.

    Pasadita pero deliciosa. En nariz puro merengue con caramelo, manzana asada. También un toque exótico. Algo diferente, algo Leroy, algo a lo que llamar "my amor". Extraordinaria para ser una Blagny.

Cause love Burgundy anyway.
There was not a real interest in this event, excepting for that marvellous Leroy
