Introduction
A nice lineup of wines from Jarvis. The Reserve Cab was by far the best wine but I see some aging potential in their Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc.
2008 Jarvis (California) Winery Chardonnay Reserve Finch Hollow Vineyard 90 Points
USA, California, Napa Valley
A young Chardonnay that needs some time to balance itself out. Minerals, oak, vanilla and pear. Medium finish. With time the oak should be less noticeable and the wine more balanced.

2007 Jarvis (California) Winery Merlot 87 Points

Too much Eucalyptuses for my palate. Also spice, floral, mint and subtle fruit come together and it has a medium finish. Really not my style of Merlot

2006 Jarvis (California) Winery Cabernet Franc 90 Points
USA, California, Napa Valley
A nice Cabernet Franc with spices, floral, oak and vanilla on the nose. The palate shows some nice fruit with raspberries and sour cherries present. Medium finish and a bit tannic. This should age a few more years but should be better with some time.

2005 Jarvis (California) Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 91 Points

A nice effort with spice, cherry, minerals and plum. Good structure and firm tannins. The oak is present but not a dominate feature of the wine. Medium finish and should drink well for a decade.

2001 Jarvis (California) Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 94 Points
USA, California, Napa Valley
A wonderful effort and drinking well now. Raspberry, cherry, spice, minerals and earth. Very balance and smooth tannins. The finish is medium to long and the wine is complex. Should age for a decade.
