Flight 1 (3 Notes)

  • 1997 Château Lafite Rothschild 93 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac

Exceptional elegance, surprising for a 1997 Bordeaux. Still fairly closed but complex nose with little currant and blackberries, vanilla and some pencil. Medium bodied with red fruits, well integrated tannins. Long and elegant finish.

  • 2002 Château Mouton Rothschild 95 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac

Incredibly powerful, dense and very Elegant! Complex wine with ripe fruits, kirsch, blood, tar, pencil and smoke tones. Decant in time (6 hours?) because very tight on the palate. But better wait another 10-15 years.

  • 2000 Château Mouton Rothschild 97 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac

Dark nearly black colour. Over-ripe fruits, multiple berries, cherries, Asian spices and sandalwood in the nose. Classic Pauillac and very elegant on the palate. Very powerful with chocolate, kirsch and mineral tones. For a long future.
