2010 Conundrum Wines White 88 Points

Deep yellow color with aromas of florals, gooseberry, lychee, rose petals and tropical fruit. Flavors of spice, lychee and tropical fruit with a touch of rs in the finish. More fruity than sweet. $20.95.

Pale color. Notes of grass, lemon oil, citrus and melon. Flavors of citrus, lemongrass and a hint of honey with nice underlying acidity. 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Semillon. $28.95.

2008 Mer Soleil Chardonnay Reserve Santa Lucia Highlands 88 Points

Yellow color with a green tint. Notes of coconut and tropical fruit follow through on the palate. Pineapple and butter qualities too. Decent finish. 88-89 pts.$25.95.

Dark garnet color. Campfire notes dominate the bouquet and palate- obvious effects of the wildfires. Has some cherry and dark fruit tones underneath.

Crimson color. Notes of earthy cherry and red currants and plums- ripe. Nice balance, with flavors of red berries, plu, underbrush and nutmeg. $46.95.

Inky purple color, opaque. Aromas of perfumed red fruit, black cherry, coffee and herbs. Medium- to full-bodied, with flavors of blackberry, currants, violets and black cherry. Fine-grained, approachable tannins. $33.95.

2007 Ramey Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 90 Points

Much better than the previous showing. Inky, opaque crimson color with notes of dark fruit, roasted game, rose petals and perhaps molasses too. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and flavors of dark fruit- blackberry & cassis and red berries. Nice fruity finish. Drink now 2018. $45.95.
