Surprisingly not much sign of aging. Somewhat shy nose with cherry and a little bit of vanilla. Average palate. I wasn't very impressed by this bottle. C

Closing

Overall, I was quite impressed by many of these wines. None of them fit in my 'outstanding (90+)' categorie, but a handfull were 'Excellent (88-89)'. Too bad that many of these can't be found in retail any more...

To me, this shoes that 'secondary' (affordable) Bordeaux wines from great vintages are great buys if you have the patience to lay them down for ~10 years.
