  • NV House of Arras Brut Elite 94 Points

A really fresh, briny nose - almost oyster-like with a slightly spicy aspect as well. The palette has fine bubbles, good oak treatment and a long finish of lychee.

  • 2004 House of Arras Grand Vintage 95 Points

    Australia, Tasmania

Wow - this guy is going places. This wine is already looking more complex and textural that the 2003 - which is already pretty good, and yet at this young age it is still very delicate and balanced.

The nose starts with honey along with some classic sea spray elements and some interesting grassy notes as well. The texture is thick with an almost oily mouthfeel, chewy bubbles and a big spicy finish. Really good.

Tasmanian sparkling wine is just so good and this is why, cake and biscuits on the nose with vanilla, toast and even caramel. The palette is smooth and buttery with a textural rounded finish. Fantastic.
