My WON above Poyferre, Angelus, Lynch Bages, Gruaud and Palmer 2000. Sexy, sweet an intense nose with coffee, melted chocolate and licorice. Red ripe fruits including cherries and prunes. Minerals and pencil. Full bodied, highly complex in the mouth with silky tannins. Already very enjoyable at the moment.
Sharp delineation. Minerals and apple, citrus and white flowers. Pebbles! But also melon, other ripe fruits and buttered toast. In the mouth young fruits, cream and good acidity. Very interesting bottle, great start of a special evening.
