Introduction
Nice tasting of 4 wines from Shea. St. Innocent was wine of the night in the group followed by the 09 Ken Wright which I predict will develop into a wonderful wine.
2006 Mumm Napa Chardonnay The Gallery Collection 91 Points
USA, California, Napa Valley
Spice, oak, floral, pinneapple and lemon. Medium finish and rich wine. A nice surprise.

2005 Ken Wright Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard 92 Points
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Yamhill-Carlton
Great right out of the bottle. Strawberry, minerals, spice, mushroom and cherry. Medium finish. As the night went on it went down hill a bit. Drink now!

2009 Ken Wright Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard 93 Points
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Yamhill-Carlton
Cranberry, rose petals, dust and blueberries. A lot of wood up front and firm tannins. Over 3 hours it opened up and added a nice perfume element on the palate. Should get better. 93-94.

2006 Raptor Ridge Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard 87 Points

Never got much better over the night. Ripe fruit, strawberry jam, orange peel and really Pinot like. Hold and hope.

2007 St. Innocent Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard 93 Points

Burg like with spicebox, floral, wood, cranberry and vanilla. Wonderful nose and palate showed well all night. Another great showing for this wine!
