A bit light for what is effectively a GG, but still a wine with style and length, lovely acidity and good fruit (apples, peach), hint of wax, nice touch of RS.
Decanted at 4pm, served at 9pm. Very impressive, concentrated, lead pencil and black fruits, powerfully structured, rich but dry, oak completely absorbed, energetic.

Showing surprisingly well. Lovely nose (tobacco, liquorice, cherries, violets, eucalyptus), nice weight, velvety texture, refreshing dry finish with some heat. Now - 2011.
