Gorgeous wine. Fantastic floral and animale nose which was distinctive and gentle. Silky tannins, great intensity and structure. Sweet fruited long finish. Outstanding and clearly the best Clos St. Jacques I've had.

Showing much better than the previous time I've had it. Coffee and caramel on the alluring nose. Sweet, classic pinot fruits on the palate. Extremely balanced and lovely to drink now. Clearly a Grand Cru experience. Kudos!

Quite full bodied. Ripe with plenty of extract though finish was a tad short. Masculine rather than feminine. A brutish rather than refined Chambolle. Quality-wise defiitely shows its pedigree. Sappy, a tasting wine.

Showed much better than my previous bottle. Roses and sweet red. Berries on the nose. Very seductive. On the palate this had significant presence which culminated in a bittersweet minerally finish. Outstanding!
