From Organizer:
We'll try eight Rosella's Pinots from the 2002 through
2005 vintages. They should provide a chance to contrast cool vs warm vintage Rosella's Pinots. We'll try three Rosella's from relatively warm 2002 and 2003 vintages, a pair from the moderate 2004 vintage, and a trio from the cool 2005 vintage. At 7 to 10 years of age, these Rosella's should be nicely evolved, complex and near their peak.

tasted blind, Fantastic nose had me thinking Beaune, The flavors were only OK and definitely California, but I did enjoy a nice wintergreen flavor.

2009 Rickshaw Pinot Noir Sonoma County 88 Points
USA, California, Sonoma County
Tasted double blind, did not realize it was a wine I have enjoyed many times before.
Light bodied, easy drinker, delicious crowd pleaser. I rated it 88. When it was finally revealed I checked my previous notes on CT and saw that I have always rated it 88, at least I'm consistent!!
The 12 other tasters were impressed with this relative bargain.

2009 Mackenzie Pinot Noir Boschetti 87 Points

Tasted double blind. Floral, perfume, spice and oak aromas with a slight green flavor. Not bad but not great
