Introduction

The Dallas 2nd Wednesday Group got together on the first Wednesday of this month to help avoid the mad rush that is Valentine's Day. We popped into a local Mediterranean food place for a little hummus, some gyros and a mixed bag of lower in wines such as base level Rieslings, Dolcettos, etc... I missed a few notes on wines like the double blind Beaujolais and Italian, the Tokay and another wine but here is a sampling of the wines for the evening.

    Light yellow to yellow in the glass, clear looking throughout with tiny, steady beading. Nose of sea spray, lime and a hint of cream fraiche. Flavors of lemon, tart yellow apples and yellow pears. Bright acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold. I'd drink.
