Pale. Some wood toast and lemon. Very full and round-really a gorgeous texture that does not show any wood. Lactic, powerful acidity. This has somewhat less of the typical Meursault characteristics, but wow, it does have the depth and breadth of a Cote de Beaune Grand Cru. Immensely impressive and not even a top of the line bottling here. Best wine of the night, at least in the heavyweight division.

Light yellow/green. High toned aromatics with some herbs. Lighter style, herbaceous and tart. Good mineral finish. This was killed by being placed right after the much heftier Roulot wine, but I still think it is good.
Light yellow. Hazelnut nose that is very Meursault. Midweight. Subtle blend of fruit and oak flavors with an unusual coconut quality. Average acidity but brighter finish. Interesting wine.

Medium yellow. Sulfury. Lighter weight, more floral than anything before it with lemon fruit. Wood takes over in the mid-palate and carries through to the end. Heavyhanded use of the cooperage.
Medium yellow. Smoky nose. Middle weight, round, smoky palate with some citrus and a kernel of bitterness. Average acidity. The flavors are neutral without real authority, and the lasting impression of one of heaviness despite having some attractive elements.

Light yellow with a hint of green. Zippy lemon and orange blossom. Light, very lively with excellent inner mouth floral tones. Lovely, fresh and crackling youthfulness. Lacks just a touch of drive, but it is so pretty that it can be forgiven for this slight deficit of intensity. Whereas the Roulot was forceful and assertive, this won me over with finesse and seduction. A winner in quite a different style.
