i didn't know what to expect from this, but it overdelivered on every level. sharp acid, complex minerality, apricot, and citrus. this is delicious and extraordinarily refreshing.
slightly corked --- a real disappointment, as you could tell that there was something special trying to get out -- it was barely noticeable at first, but get progressively worse. spiced strawberry, earth, and sweet spice. finish shows nice acidity, but is undercut by the TCA.
a little over the hill, but still showing nice cabernet franc profile of green pepper and spice. some tobacco notes. sour cherry on acidic finish makes you pucker a bit.
this is what aged CA cab can turn into. most of the fruit is faded now, with wonderful caramel notes sitting on top of leather, a little black licorice, and some berry notes. i could smell this all day -- it's that beautiful on the nose.

This might be my favorite bottle of Lillian so far. Opened in the morning and left in a decanter for 12 hours, as Ive found the Lillians to be even better on the second or third day. Dark fruit, blood, meat, and it has the mint flavor that I love in good CA Syrah. Viscous in the mouth, with a long finish. Glad i have a case of this tucked away.

This was better than the other bottles Ive had of this. dark and brooding, this tastes much younger than the last bottle and much more correct with what I expect from PS. Tannins are tough to cut through, but it has a lot of black fruit behind. medium finish.
yum! strawberry juice on the attack quickly turns into darker fruit. light on its feet because of the low alcohol. sweet, but i did not find it cloying this time -- it has enough acid. long finish. a little bit goes a long way.
