Full yellow. Slightly funky woolly nose. Excellent texture with a good mix of orange fruit and Savennieres earthiness. Better than I expected for the basic bottling from this vintage.

Pale with glint of green. Very varietal, herbal nose. Relatively full, good structure with grapefruit core, expansive and dry finish. On one hand, well mannered for 2009 Sancerre, on the other, it lacks the excitement of the best wines from this great site.
Light yellow. Sort of a hybrid-Sauvignon aromatics but Chenin texture. Racy, interesting wine with excellent earth and acidity on the finish. Not great, but a definite overperformer at the ($9!!) price point.
Light with some green. White grapefruit zest. Lightweight, mouthwatering acidity, good minerality. Textbook Sancerre, very good if not having the extra dimension to be special.
Light red. Olive and graphite. Light, green, fairly innocuous watery flavors, very short. Not worth ingesting the ethanol molecules for the minimal pleasure you get from this.

Quite deep robe. Some blackberry and pencil shavings. Nice concentration-the only one of the reds to have a real sense of ripe fruit and some texture. Tannic finish suggests it needs 2 or 3 years. The only red I would consider purchasing, and ironically, the cheapest of the bunch.
