Tons of v.a. on the nose, along with some tart blackberry fruit. Medium bodied with medium+ acidity. Tart raspberry and blackberry, a bit shrill, showing some v.a. on the palate too, with light tannins. Not terrible, I was going to score it 85 but after reading my note from last year I think this was a flawed bottle.

Ripe blackberry fruit, some savory notes of olive and beef broth, just a touch of brett. Medium to full bodied with low to medium acidity. Blackberries, anise, herbs and moderate tannins. A bit rustic but nice.

Really bretty nose with some raspberry liqueur trying to work its way out from under the funk, unsuccessfully. Medium to full bodied with medium acidity. Juicy blackberry and plum fruit with some savory, herbal notes and moderate tannins. Slightly bitter finish, which bothers me, along with the brett.

Flat out gorgeous nose of fresh blackberries, blueberries and flowers. Medium to full bodied with medium acidity. Blackberry, anise, black pepper and moderate tannins. Nice now but seems likely to improve. Easily the wine of the flight.
