Introduction

A small dinner to celebrate Neal's 41st birthday and featuring wines from his birth year. Three of the five clarets were corked, but this meant we had more time to focus on the Ledbury's wonderful cooking

Flight 1 - with canapés (1 Note)

Flight 2 - with roast scallop with pumpkin, mandarin and ginger (1 Note)

Flight 3 - with breast of quail with lentils, iberian ham and chantarelles (2 Notes)

Flight 4 - with shoulder of milk fed pyrenean lamb with creamed potato and olive oil, pardon peppers and garlic (2 Notes)

Flight 5 - with fillet and feather blade of Galloway of Beef with smoked onions and truffle (2 Notes)

Flight 6 - with sea buckthorn curd with burnt meringue and orange leaf (1 Note)

Flight 7 - with malt tart with roast apple ice cream and cider caramel (1 Note)
