Wine tasting. Black cherry on nose, still completely vibrant and mostly primary. Dark and powerful fruit on palate with lots of structure that I'd consider simultaneously powerful and elegant. This should easily hold at this level for 15 years.
Wine tasting. Black cherry aromas, very youthful, with good floral notes in background. Similar fruit on palate, with moderate intensity, length and finesse. Drinking well now, probably around its peak drinking window.
Wine tasting. Lush, concentrated black cherry and black currant on nose. Similar fruit on palate with good textures. Structure is a bit firm right now, so I expect this to be better in 2010.
