Very creditable wines for the price. Most special was the Quinta da Pellada, which was really pretty fantastic for a $20 white.

Appealing nose with grapefruit pith and flowers. Slightly spritzy. Light, tremendous minerality for its weight. Will last.

2009 Companhia das Quintas Arinto Prova Régia

Deep yellow. Ripe yellow apple. Full bodied with a cidery twist. Heavier style, acidity not as prominent.

2009 Quinta de Saes Dão Branco
Portugal, Beiras, Dão
Medium yellow. Some oak along with citrus on the nose. Full entry with orange oil, just off dry. This is quickly cut by strong acidity and a long, mineral finish. Fascinating wine that reminded me of Loire Chenin Blanc in its weight and minerality.
