Medium lemon color, very good mousse. Quite expressive nose of apples, lemon rind, brioche, spice. On the palate, lemon meringue, lemon rind, some tropical and stone fruit notes. Quite intense, but maintains a relative lightness with a huge backbone of acidity. Long finish. Just fantastic. My #2.
Very pronounced nose of ripe stone fruit, mineral, citrus, and honeysuckle. Full bodied and lush, long finish. Subtle this is not. Impressive and of course completely (unabashedly) dry.
Very light and elegant, putting on just a slight bit of weight with air. Still shows bright red fruit on top of its more serious, leathery frame, with a great acid backbone. A treat. My #3 of the night. (Medium+ Yum!)
Three hour decant. What an absolute treat! Pressed flowers and dried cherries on the nose and palate. Incredibly structured with fine, dusty tannin and great acidity on an effortless, light frame. Both the nose and palate deliver, and linger for ages. Started to fade after a couple of hours, but what a ride that couple of hours was. My #1.
Seems torn between a masculine, fruit-forward, rich wine and a more feminine, silky, elegance, but the contrast is quite interesting. Changed remarkably in the glass; complex and long. Beautiful wine that will benefit from further age. In my top 5 of the night.

A very unfortunate night for this wine to try to compete. Explosive, spicy, nicely-vegetal, cedary, cherry and blackberry nose that foretells good things but needs age. On a night of aged, refined gentlemen bottles, this stood out as a bit too crass to be taken seriously. For now.
