  What a fantastic wine!! Chocolate, veal, banago (a chocolate and banana milk drink discontinued in the 90's) mixed spices, cherries and pear. Very warm on the palate and clear winner of the red wines tonight

• 2006 Clarendon Hills Grenache Blewitt Springs 91 Points

  Burnt rubber, dried meat, beef tartar: what a fantastically exotic nose! It goes on with fresh red cherries and amarena cherries and fruit in rum. Very long finish but still needs a lot of time to open up

• 2009 Sine Qua Non Grenache Upside Down 92 Points

  This is probably way too young but still tasted as I couldn't resist. Licorice, tons of strawberry, nearly artificial strawberry flavor. Lots of vanilla with the oak nicely integrated, give this one time.

  I'm surprised that I seem to be the only one reviewing this wine, this doesn't usually happen with Cellartracker, anyway, I was stunned again by this wine, served blind. I guessed this to be a Rieslaner Keller TBA someone else guessed Mussbacher Eselshaut Scheurebe TBA. Melon, peach, dried apricots, mirabelle, black tea, hint of vanilla, perfectly clear botrytis, dense fat with a nicely supporting acidity. AMAZING STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
