    USA, California, Napa Valley, St. Helena

    Rich strawberry color. This vintage is even more impressive than the 2010. Nose has mushroom, gorpeous earth, melon, strawberry. The palate is tasty, lively, nice acid, ripe berries, minerals. One of my favorite roses. 91-92pts.

  • 2009 Kitchak Cellars Cabernet Franc 89 Points

    USA, California, Napa Valley

    Small production wine. Nose is a mix of red and black fruits, strawberry, raspberry, some cassis. This was very pleasant, fairly straighforward. 88-90pts

  • 2008 Kitchak Cellars Adagio 94 Points

    Nose is ripe black fruits, cassis, boysenberry, blackberry liqueur, cedar. The palate is lush, velvety, black fruits, creme de cassis, blackberry, spice, licorice, oak. Nicely balanced, layered, deep, long finish. Gorgeous.

    Introverted nose, cedar, cassis, earthy, oak, spice. The palate is concentrated, tight, blackberry, oak, very spicy, pepper, firm tannins. This is very young, needs time, has good potential. 92+pts.
