Blind tasted. Dark fruits, dense, full wine. Good oak still, sweet oaky notes. A lot of fruit still and very tipical super-tuscan. Lots of life ahead of this. 92 for the moment
Blind tatsted. Decanted for about 20mins. Lots of sweet oak notes on the nose, at points felt like a modern style barolo. Big wine, lot sof fruit but maybe a touch too much oak at the moment. MB usually assimilates oak much better than this so maybe we should have decanted longer. Good fruit and lots of life ahead of this. 92-94 at the moment.
Blind tasted. Double decanted for 30 mins or so. The nose is muted to start and gives few hints of origin. But within 30mins or so it develops into a classic bordeaux. A lot of fruit on this ( we thought it was 1990 Leoville Poyferre) very 1990. The nose is red fruit, but also some secondary notes, some cedar. Amazingly this is very much alive, very vibrant and was easily our wine of the night (vs Ridge MB 97 et all). We really enjoyed this and we would recommend it. 94-95 drink now but this has another 10yrs easily in it.

Bottle # 28420. Good levels and cork. Decanted fro 30mins. Colours shows the age, actually looks a lot older than 99. Elegant delicate, fruit nose which finishes in full secondary notes, earthy. On the palate it feels mature and with lovely sweet core running through. A touch on the mild side but a beautiful wine nonetheless. 92 drinks very well now.
Testament to the 2001 vintage when even small chateaux make so beautiful wines. Color shows a bit more dark notes than expected. Good depth and substance, lots of fruit. Very nicely balanced and very enjoyable. 91+
