  Austria, Niederösterreich

  Pale color. Aromas of citrus and lemongrass. Sour white fruit flavors with tangy acidity. Guessed domestic Sauv Blanc.

• 2010 Bibi Graetz Casamatta Bianco Toscana IGT 88 Points

  Italy, Tuscany, Toscana IGT

  Aromas of melon and apple with a subtle smoky undertone. Soft acidity with apple tones dominating the palate. Fairly lengthy finish. Guessed domestic Chard.

  Aromas of banana and tropical fruit dominate; also melon and coconut. Rich, oily texture with decent pear and apple fruit tones. Guessed Chard.

  White fruit, apple, sulpher and smoke aromas. Lovely apple and white fruit flavors with nice underlying acidity and a terrific smoky tone on the finish. Guessed Pouilly-Fuissé.

  Spain, Castilla-La Mancha, Pago Florentino

  Deep inky crimson color. Aromas of boysenberry, pepper and mint; develops a meaty note with air. Medium tannins, with flavors of dark fruit, plum and meat. Nice finish.

  Inky purple color. Aromas of plum, chocolate and black fruit. Chalky tannins, with black fruit and plum tones and a nice finish. Guessed CA Cab.

  Argentina, Mendoza, Valle de Uco

  Deep color. Aromas of iron, raw beef, plum and black fruit. Nice mix of red & black fruit flavors on the palate, along with currant and cherry tones. Lengthy finish. Develops a pleasant greenish/herbal tone with air. 90-92 pts. No guess.

  Deep crimson color. Weedy, wet rotten veg aromas on first pass. With time in the glass this developed herb, earth and as some tasters put it- barnyard. Flavors of red fruit; a bit stemmy, also earth and herb qualities.

  Aromas of herbs, iron and a nice mix of red & black fruit; perfumed floral qualities as well. Vanilla and red fruit flavors on the palate are simple compared to the bouquet. Softened acidity; clipped finish.

  Deep color. Aromas of dark fruit, plum and herbs. Medium tannins, with terrific red fruit and herbal notes on the palate. Medium+ finish. Guessed CA Cab Sauv/Franc.
