My WOTN was the Arnoux-Lachaux Nuits St. Georges, especially with the $45 price tag, but many of these wines will require some cellar time so maybe this would change if I was to revisit these wines in a 5+ years.

Other wines that was impressed with were:

- Louis Jadot Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode
- Comte Armand Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru
- Arnoux / Arnoux-Lachaux Vosne-Romanée
- Domaine Pierre Gelin Fixin 1er Cru Clos Napoleon


The Montille Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Aux Thorey stood out from the crowd with a very distinctive nose, but I didn't really like it that much.

The last 4 Burgundy wines were a little bit hot on the nose, which probably affected their ratings tonight.

Overall, this was a great tasting and a demonstration that you don't have to spend $100+ for some outstanding Burgundy wines...

The Thomas Fogarty is such a nice location for a wine tasting... especially at night!!
