Nose of honeysuckle, white flowers, white peach, melon. Palate has an explosion of honeyed citrus sweetness at 3/4 palate, then transitions into mildly raisined white sultana, then the finish dries out nicely with good acid and stony mineral.

Decanted about an hour. Intense jammy fruit, especially red cassis, jumps from the bottle immediately on opening. Nose has strong dark red fruit and equally intense beetroot, tomato, and carrot (V8?), with pretty creamy chocolate in the background throughout the nose. Very full-bodied palate opens with red berries and cassis, the fruit has an awesome tangy edge, like passionfruit, then layered ripe cherry finish. In 3.5 years since last bottle, acidity has relaxed a bit, fruit has gained power.
