Sweet, mineral, complex nose, bit buttery, actually very lovely. Taste unexpectedly is fairly acidic but nice and non-obtrusive, flowery, mineral. However the midpalate is much too lean, showing the vintage. This also shows itself in the finish which is nice and long but lean. Great experience. Rating this wine is wine is difficult, because parts of the wine get different scores, so I won't rate.

Decanted for 30 minutes. Broad lovely nose, citrus, flowers, lavender, clove, butter. Nose keeps changing, showing different things. After 30 minutes nose shuts down a bit. Taste is very complex and also changing, many layers, with minerals, herbs and flowers. This wine is more style than power in the beginning after opening, in time becomes more concentrated, with caramel and marzupin. Good finish.

Typical bonnes mares. Nose a bit tight, caramel, sweet, black fruit. Taste full bodied, muscular, round tannins, lots of red and dark fruit, cassis, caramel, mineral, long length.

Nose mature, sweet, red fruit, sulpher, kirsch, grass, some 2004 greenness (some found this obvious, others hardly noticed). Taste red fruit, sweet, some earth, a bit vanilla in the background. Concentrated beautifull wine. Finish lingers on.
