Kevin Zraly Jadot tasting with Jacques Lardiere at Sherry-Lehmann 6/14/12

A fascinating evening with great insight from Jacques Lardiere led by Kevin Zraly. Great flights of Burgundy owned by Jadot spanning different years to highlight differences in evolution of the wines. I was really stunned by how the red burgs were so unbalanced when young and how open, balanced, and enjoyable they were after much more bottle age.

In the end this tasting was very educational It was great to hear from Jacques Lardiere before his retirement. I wish he could have expanded more on his thoughts. I think if he spoke in French we would have gotten even more insight and nuance to the stories.
